On Monday we will be giving prizes out to this seasons winners. It's been a fantastic season of the Clubman series with plenty of racing action and some surprise race winners. The Mini-E class has been catching all of attention with the forced body rule, it was great to see so much effort with the liveries.

So who was victorious this season?

The Mini-E series results

Each round of the Mini-E series was always hard to predict with most of the field always just a few seconds off each other. But it was a different story with the championship. David Underwood may have started the series on a backfoot, but he concluded it with a Champions victory. Tom Berry stole the runners up spot with some great drives in the last two rounds. The podium was completed with Steve Baggley racing the Project Ashgate charity M08 car.

Clubman-E series

The clubman class was once again filled with big battles, Ryan Keeton increased his game from last season and controlled the series from start to finish. Even running the control tyre for most of the rounds couldn't stop him. He also completed the series with a champions victory on the final round. Runner up in the series was Lee Dyson racing a basic Tamiya TL01 chassis. He just couldn’t match Keeton's consistency but still managed a few TQ's and a great victory. Following Lee was Chris Sale who repeated his position from last season. The highlight for Chris had got to be is great comeback victory on round 5.

Project Ashgate M08 Winner

At the beginning of the season we started a competition to win the Tamiya M08 chassis that Steve Baggley raced in the Mini-E class. Steve collected 390 points which was correctly guessed by Christoper Sale. Well Done Chris, your M08 will be ready for you on Monday. Also a big-big thank you to everyone who donated to the great cause.

On Monday we will be running a general club meeting and then giving championship prizes out during the break between qualifying and the finals. We might have to limit numbers to the meeting as we will not have the pit area available, please make sure you are booked in via the website:  https://www.sheffieldrcracing.co.uk/index.php/booking-in-2/new-entry-list-2
