The Clubman returns to Eckington Civic Raceway for season 2!
That’s right, the fun close action series is back for another go. Starting in march it will follow the same format as before with a few small changes to the rules. We will also be bringing back the chocolate prizes.

Although the series is only aimed at the Clubman-E class, the meetings will be open as usual to all the other classes and racers that visit the club. If you race another class or don't have a legal clubman car, please do not be put from visiting. Clubman-E just has the best numbers to make a championship work. This is meant to be an extension of the fun at Eckington, not a restriction.
To enter the series you will just need to have a legal car and BRCA license. You book into the rounds like a normal club meeting. Our meetings are limited to 25 entries so please make sure you book in advance.
CLUBMAN-E CHASSIS RULES
Any 1/10 scale chassis.
4WD chassis - Handicap tyres may be applied.
2WD Chassis - No handicaps will be applied.
High ability (PRO) racers will be asked to run a budget chassis (RRP <£200) or a retro chassis (>15 years old).
Core RC 27 Turn motor only
label must be visible within the chassis and not show any signs of water damage. The motor must not have been opened or show signs of tampering.
All chassis hop-ups are permitted
Slick or cut slick rubber tyres only
There are no restrictions on brand or compounds. Treaded or spiked tyres are not permitted at the club.
Non-jelly mould style bodies only
The body needs to resemble a real production car. No aero focused "jelly mould" TC racing bodies. GT bodies are permitted.
Batteries
Lipo or Ni-Cd cells are allowed with a maximum voltage of 7.6v. Lipo batteries must be charged in a lipo safe bag.
ESC
Hobbywing 1060 ESC only. Reverse must be turned off.
Tyre Additive
Only water based additives are permitted at the club.
