On Monday, the 8th of July 2024, the "Cheap as Chips" 1/12 Mini race series made its return to Eckington Civic Raceway. The Sheffield RC Racing team had crafted a new track layout for the occasion, designed to be fast and flowing, and featuring a long straight running diagonally down the venue. With the addition of two other popular support classes, everything was set for an exciting night of racing.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit their feedback on our club survey. Your input is invaluable in shaping the future of our RC Car Racing club. From the survey, we received 11 valid submissions, each offering great insights. We have now begun drawing up the new ruleset for the Clubman 5 championship.

We are excited to announce Clubman 5 is coming to Eckington Civic Raceway.

On Sunday 12 May 2024, we have the Killamarsh main hall all day. For this we are planning to have a classic full day of racing with seeding. This will also include a 2 hours test and tune session before the meeting. The event will be open to all our usual race classes, but we are also inviting other indoor on-road classes to come join in.

On 13 May 2024 we will be running a special award meeting, this will be for the Clubman 4 series to celebrate all the winners. It will also include the 'special' awards we had for the last season. The meeting will also feature the popular balloon race and some other fun events. Booking in will open up on Tuesday 7 May.
